The Big Crunch: The Death of God and the Rebirth of Creation (Omega > 1) There is a third path, holding the deepest secret of all. What if the total density of the universe—the sheer weight of every heartbreak, war, and act of compassion— becomes so infinitely heavy that it draws all things back to the center? As the universe folds inward in the Big Crunch, the Creator makes the ultimate concession to honor the human journey: God must yield. The Divine cannot remain the untouchable Source while we bear the weight of the experience. The identity of “God as Life” collapses, sharing the ultimate fate of the created. Life dissolves into Abaddon.
