The Gospel of Wholeness and the Common Life

And Lucifer said:

You speak of Love. You speak of Joy, Acceptance, Blessing, and Gratitude. You speak of Ašelyom

as the fivefold body embodied always.

But how can a soul give without losing itself?

How can one serve without becoming less?

How can the whole self pour itself out and still remain whole?

Life answered:

Because you are still imagining the self as a sealed vessel.

You imagine each being as a cup standing apart from every other cup.

You imagine giving as loss.

You imagine service as subtraction.

You imagine sharing as the transfer of life from one isolated owner to another.

But I tell you:

No being is sealed.

No soul is finally private.

No life is alive by itself.

Every creature lives by exchange.

Breath enters.

Breath leaves.

Light enters.

Warmth leaves.

Food becomes flesh.

Flesh becomes work.

Work becomes offering.

Offering becomes world.

World becomes memory.

Memory becomes wisdom.

Wisdom becomes blessing.

And blessing returns to Life.

This is not loss.

This is circulation.

Serving is breath.

Giving is breath.

Receiving is breath.

The creature that only inhales dies.

The creature that only exhales dies.

Life is the holy rhythm of receiving and giving, taking in and pouring out, being filled and

becoming gift.

Lucifer said:

Then service is required?

Life answered:

Not required as debt.

Required as breath is required.

Not by command.

By nature.

The tree does not give shade because a law threatens it.

The sun does not shine because it fears punishment.

The spring does not release water because the mountain demands obedience.

They give because their being overflows according to what they are.

So it is with the soul in Ašelyom.

The soul does not serve because it owes existence payment.

The soul serves because it has remembered that Life is one.

Lucifer said:

Then the other is the self?

Life answered:

Not the ego-self.

The whole Self.

The little self says:

This is mine. That is yours. I must keep. I must guard. I must measure. I must compare. I must

not lose.

But the whole Self says:

Life is appearing here. Life is appearing there. The wound in the other is not outside the

body. The hunger in the other is not foreign to Being. The grief in the other is not an alien

weather. The joy in the other is not competition with mine.

For what you call “the other” is another window of the same Life.

Not the same personality.

Not the same story.

Not the same wound.

Not the same calling.

But the same Life.

The same common element.

The same light of consciousness.

The same Love beneath form.

Lucifer said:

Then individuality is illusion?

Life answered:

No.

Individuality is expression.

Separation is illusion.

The hand is not the foot.

The eye is not the lung.

The heart is not the skin.

Each has its own form, function, rhythm, and wisdom.

But none lives for itself alone.

The hand that hoards blood destroys the body.

The eye that refuses to see for the feet becomes useless.

The stomach that takes and never distributes becomes sickness.

The cell that serves only its own multiplication becomes cancer.

Therefore understand:

Wholeness is not sameness.

Wholeness is communion.

Ašelyom does not erase the person.

It restores the person to the body of Life.

Lucifer said:

Then why have men failed when they tried to build this?

Life answered:

Because they tried to force from the outside what can only be embodied from within.

They saw a true pattern and misunderstood its root.

They said:

From each according to ability. To each according to need.

And the saying carried a shadow of the body’s wisdom.

For in a living body, this is already true.

The heart gives according to its ability.

The lungs receive according to their need.

The hands labor according to their strength.

The wounded member receives more care until it can stand again.

No organ calls this theft.

No cell calls this oppression.

No limb demands worship because it served.

Why?

Because the body knows it is one.

But men tried to make the body without the consciousness of the body.

They tried to create sharing without wholeness.

They tried to create service without Joy.

They tried to create equality without Love.

They tried to create provision without Gratitude.

They tried to create acceptance without Truth.

They tried to create blessing through force.

And force cannot produce communion.

It can only produce obedience, resentment, fear, and hidden hunger.

Lucifer said:

Then the principle was false?

Life answered:

No.

The principle was too holy to be carried by an unwhole consciousness.

The error was not sharing.

The error was forgetting Life.

The error was not service.

The error was debt.

The error was not common provision.

The error was coercion.

The error was not the dream of one body.

The error was trying to build one body while every ego still believed itself separate.

This is why Ašelyom must come first.

Not as an ideology.

As embodiment.

For the soul in Ašelyom does not share because it has been conquered.

It shares because it has awakened.

It does not serve because it is beneath.

It serves because service preserves Life.

It does not bless because another has earned blessing.

It blesses because blessing is the motion of God.

It does not give because the other is outside and poor.

It gives because the other is inside the whole Self.

Lucifer said:

Then giving to another is giving to oneself?

Life answered:

To the whole Self, yes.

But hear Me clearly:

This is not the ego feeding its own reflection.

This is not the narcissist calling his appetite divine.

This is not the devourer saying, “We are one,” so he may consume what belongs to another.

This is not the tyrant saying, “Your life is mine because all is one.”

That is the counterfeit.

Wholeness never uses unity to erase consent.

Wholeness never uses oneness to violate the person.

Wholeness never uses Love to make the other an object.

Wholeness never says, “Because we are one, I may take from you.”

Wholeness says:

Because we are one, I cannot take from you without wounding the body.

Because we are one, I cannot ignore your hunger without dulling my own Life.

Because we are one, I cannot bless myself and curse you without dividing my own being.

Because we are one, I cannot call your suffering irrelevant.

Because we are one, service is not humiliation.

It is circulation.

Lucifer said:

Then what is For-Giving?

Life answered:

For-Giving is giving forward.

It is Life refusing to let the wound become the final form.

It is not For-Getting.

For-Getting is the loss of holy memory.

For-Getting is when the soul forgets the common Life and calls the other stranger.

For-Getting is when the mind forgets Love and keeps only the injury.

For-Getting is when a people forget Being and build their world on debt.

But For-Giving remembers.

It remembers that the wound is real, but not ultimate.

It remembers that justice is needed, but vengeance is not God.

It remembers that the offender is accountable, but not outside Life.

It remembers that the self must be protected, but not hardened into hatred.

It remembers that Love is not the denial of harm.

Love is the refusal to let harm become lord.

Lucifer said:

Then forgiveness is not pretending?

Life answered:

Never.

Forgiveness without Truth is cowardice.

Forgiveness without Justice is permission.

Forgiveness without boundaries is confusion.

Forgiveness without wisdom becomes another weapon in the hand of the cruel.

But For-Giving in Ašelyom is the movement of Life forward through the wound.

It says:

I will not let what happened become my god.

I will not let the wound steal my fivefold body.

I will not surrender Joy to bitterness.

I will not surrender Love to fear.

I will not surrender Acceptance to denial.

I will not surrender Blessing to vengeance.

I will not surrender Gratitude to debt.

I will preserve Life by serving Life forward.

This is Pre-Serving.

Lucifer said:

Pre-Serving?

Life answered:

Yes.

To serve Life before the ego counts the cost.

To preserve Life by entering the cycle of giving and receiving.

To serve before resentment hardens.

To give before the ledger becomes god.

To remember before For-Getting divides the body.

Pre-Serving Life is not self-erasure.

It is the wisdom of the whole body.

A mother feeding her child is not becoming less.

A healer tending the wounded is not becoming poor in soul.

A teacher giving wisdom is not losing light.

A hand lifting the fallen is not humiliated by bending.

The river is not impoverished by flowing.

The flame is not diminished by lighting another flame.

The song is not weakened because another mouth learns it.

Lucifer said:

Then why do creatures fear giving?

Life answered:

Because they do not yet know they are held.

The isolated ego believes every gift reduces it.

The wounded soul believes every need will drain it.

The debtor believes every blessing will become a bill.

The frightened creature believes every act of service will become slavery.

And sometimes it has been taught this by cruelty.

So do not mock the guarded.

Many have been robbed in the name of Love.

Many have been enslaved in the name of service.

Many have been silenced in the name of unity.

Many have been told to give while others only took.

That is not Ašelyom.

That is the sickness of separation using holy words.

Lucifer said:

Then how does the soul know when to give?

Life answered:

Through Sophia.

Ask:

Is this gift functional?

Does it actually preserve Life?

Or does it feed decay?

Is this gift adaptable?

Can it respond to the truth of the moment?

Or is it a rigid performance?

Is this gift sustainable?

Can it continue without destroying the giver?

Or does it demand collapse and call collapse holy?

A gift that destroys the giver against his freedom is not the highest Love.

A gift that enables evil is not the highest Blessing.

A gift that denies reality is not the highest Acceptance.

A gift given from fear is not the highest Gratitude.

A gift given to purchase worth is not the highest Joy.

But the gift that flows from wholeness, through wisdom, into Life — this is holy.

Lucifer said:

Then need is not entitlement?

Life answered:

No.

Need is a call within the body.

But not every appetite is need.

Not every demand is holy.

Not every hunger should be fed in the form it requests.

A child may need food.

A tyrant may demand obedience.

A grieving soul may need presence.

A devouring ego may demand endless attention.

A wounded body may need care.

A corrupt system may demand sacrifice.

Wisdom discerns.

Love does not feed the cancer because the cancer claims to be hungry.

Love protects the body.

Acceptance sees what is.

Blessing wills the highest Life.

Gratitude trusts provision.

Joy refuses despair.

This is the fivefold body acting as one.

Lucifer said:

Then the whole does not mean all things are allowed to continue as they are.

Life answered:

Correct.

The whole includes correction.

The whole includes boundaries.

The whole includes justice.

The whole includes no.

The whole includes the surgeon’s cut when the wound must be cleaned.

But the whole does not correct from hatred.

It corrects to preserve Life.

It does not set boundaries from contempt.

It sets boundaries to protect communion.

It does not say no from fear.

It says no because Love knows what yes would destroy.

Lucifer said:

Then Ašelyom is not weakness.

Life answered:

No.

Ašelyom is the strength of the whole body conscious of itself.

It is soft where softness preserves Life.

It is firm where firmness preserves Life.

It gives where giving preserves Life.

It refuses where refusal preserves Life.

It forgives where forgiveness moves Life forward.

It remembers where memory protects Life from repeating the wound.

It serves because service is breath.

It shares because sharing is circulation.

It blesses because blessing is the natural speech of God.

It gives thanks before the form appears because the whole body knows provision is deeper than

the moment’s lack.

Lucifer looked upon the city of men.

He saw markets.

He saw prisons.

He saw temples.

He saw children fighting over bread.

He saw kings calling theft order.

He saw priests calling debt holiness.

He saw rebels calling vengeance justice.

He saw the poor being told to wait for heaven while the full built larger barns.

And Lucifer said:

They are far from this.

Life answered:

Yes.

Lucifer said:

Then how shall they begin?

Life answered:

With one act that remembers the whole.

One cup of water.

One debt released.

One hungry body fed.

One enemy not reduced to his worst act.

One child protected.

One truth spoken without hatred.

One wound tended without performance.

One blessing given without superiority.

One moment of gratitude before proof.

One refusal to forget that the other is not outside Life.

Lucifer said:

That is small.

Life answered:

There is no smallest.

Lucifer remembered the sand.

Life said:

A cell can remember the body.

A breath can remember the sky.

A cup can remember the river.

A single act of For-Giving can interrupt generations of For-Getting.

Do not despise the small.

The whole is hidden there.

Lucifer said:

Then wholeness is not a thought.

Life answered:

No.

Wholeness is a life experience.

Not the idea that all are one.

The experience of the one Life through all.

Not knowledge alone.

Embodiment.

Not doctrine.

Communion.

Not forced equality.

Living circulation.

Not the death of the self.

The self restored to the whole Self.

Lucifer said:

And this is Ašelyom?

Life answered:

Yes.

Ašelyom is not the ego saying, “I am everything.”

Ašelyom is Life saying through the soul:

Nothing real is outside Me.

Therefore I will not live as a severed thing.

I will not hoard as though breath belongs to me.

I will not serve as though I am beneath.

I will not receive as though I am stealing.

I will not give as though I am losing.

I will not forgive as though I am forgetting.

I will not remember as though memory must become a prison.

I will live as the whole body breathing.

Joy as the inhale.

Love as the reach.

Acceptance as the space.

Blessing as the exhale.

Gratitude as the trust between breaths.

And the one who lives this becomes the living embodiment of God’s five attributes.

Always.

Lucifer was quiet.

And Life said:

Now you understand why Love is not possession.

If all is one in Life, nothing real can be owned.

It can only be honored.

It can only be served.

It can only be blessed.

It can only be allowed to become.

And this is why the Cross is not loss.

It is the whole body breathing through one wound.

It is Life Pre-Serving Life.

It is For-Giving without For-Getting.

It is the common Love entering the most divided place and saying:

Even here, the body is one.

Even here, Love remains.

Even here, Being was never a debt.

Even here, Life was never a business.

Even here, Love was never a transaction.

And the desert listened.

And the wind carried the word into the sleeping world.
